CHICKEN WINGS TO TEQUILA

The tequila makes the meat tender and adds an exquisite taste to these tasty wings. Serve with corn tortillas, refried beans, sauce and cold beer.

Ingredients for 4 people
900 g chicken wings
11 cloves garlic, minced
Juice of 2 limes
Juice of 1 orange
2 teaspoons of tequila
1 tablespoon soft ground chilli
2 teaspoons packaged chipotle sauce, or 2 dry, rehydrated chipotles
and crushed (see TIP)
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon of sugar
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
A pinch of ground cinnamon
A pinch of dried oregano
Tomatoes split in two, grilled or gratinated, to accompany
(optional)

preparation:
Cut the chicken wings into two pieces, at the height of the joint. Put them in a non-metallic dish and add the other ingredients.
Remove everything so that it is well greased.
Cover the fountain and let it macerate in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours, or until the next day.
Preheat the barbecue.
Roast the wings, turning them from time to time, 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden and crisp and the juice is clear when pricked.
Served with roasted tomatoes.
